There are many different reasons to renovate and/or remodel a home: to make room for a growing family, to improve safety or increase the resale value of your residence, or simply to bring a fresh new look to your home. There are also a number of different ways to finance your renovation.
With years of Professional and Industry experience, BRIKS Developments has built strong ties and a stellar reputation with some of Toronto’s leading Financiers. Depending on the cost and scope of your Project, we can usually arrange for a 24 hour turn-around approval for Financing any of our BRIKS Construction Clients.
BRIKS Construction will pay for and provide 2 complimentary appraised evaluations from one of our pre-approved Appraisers. The first will determine your current property evaluation. The second appraisal will determine the evaluation of your new and remodeled home, and once BRIKS. is completed your project.
Our official and certified BRIKS estimate will be provided to our Lenders; to determine the terms of your Secured Credit Facility.
Two of the most popular options with our past BRIKS Clients are:
1. Secured Lines of Credit and Home Equity loans: These options offer all the advantages of regular lines of credit or loans, but are secured by your homeÃ¢ÂÂs equity. They can be very economical. Because of our relationship and trust with our Lenders, and depending on you Project; your Lines of Credit and Home Equity loans can go up-to 90% of your homeÃ¢ÂÂs value. This option is usually popular with BRIKS clients that have a budget of 200k-300k for their Renovation/Remodelling project.
2. Mortgage Refinancing: When funding major renovations, refinancing your mortgage lets you spread repayment over a long period at mortgage interest rates, which are usually much lower than credit card or personal loan rates. This type of financing will allow our clients to borrow up to 90% of your homeÃ¢ÂÂs appraised value (less any outstanding mortgage balance). This option is usually popular with our BRIKS clients that have a budget of 500k-700k for their Major Renovation/Remodelling project.
